    As the UAE marks its 54th Eid Al Etihad, Global Village is once again positioning itself as the premier destination for residents and visitors seeking a blend of culture, entertainment, and shopping excellence. Known as the region’s leading multicultural family destination, the park is set to transform into a vibrant celebration of Emirati heritage and creativity, bringing together traditional craftsmanship, modern fashion, and world-class entertainment. From November 27 to December 3, 2025, Global Village invites guests to immerse themselves in a multi-sensory experience that celebrates the nation’s rich history while embracing innovation, technology, and global influences.

    This year’s edition promises to be more immersive than ever, combining curated retail experiences, authentic Emirati cuisine, interactive attractions, and spectacular shows designed to engage visitors of all ages. With a focus on community empowerment, entrepreneurial talent, and cultural storytelling, the park seamlessly integrates local pride with international appeal, positioning itself not only as a festive destination but also as a business hub for emerging Emirati brands and artisans. Whether indulging in luxury shopping, enjoying a tranquil stroll through newly designed gardens, or witnessing cutting-edge drone and laser displays, guests can expect a truly memorable Eid celebration that reflects the UAE’s unique blend of tradition and modernity, a Global Village media report conveyed.

    Global Village Brings Eid Al Etihad to Life with Emirati Heritage and Innovation

    971 from the Community: Spotlight on Emirati Talent

    One of the highlights this season is the ‘971 from the Community’ Pavilion, operated by the Ministry of Community Empowerment.

    Dedicated to promoting local talent, the pavilion features an array of products crafted by Emirati artisans and entrepreneurs. Guests can discover handmade goods, innovative homegrown brands, and traditional crafts that celebrate Emirati heritage and entrepreneurial spirit.

    At the Ghars Centre for Social Empowerment, shoppers can purchase intricately handcrafted bags and clutches made from palm leaves, preserving the nation’s traditional weaving art. Meanwhile, BY.SHHK presents a fragrant collection of Emirati bukhoor and perfumes, offering scents perfect for Eid celebrations.

    UAE Pavilion: Tradition meets modern elegance

    The UAE Pavilion captures the essence of Emirati heritage with a design that blends traditional motifs with contemporary elegance.

    Featuring wind towers, golden coffee pots, camels, and a dhow boat, enhanced by blue wave motifs and an arching roof, the pavilion celebrates both culture and innovation.

    Guests can explore VIP Local Dress, which offers Eid Al Etihad-themed apparel, including kids’ vests embroidered with the UAE flag, and themed shawls and pins. Ombre Dubai presents a curated selection of traditional Emirati dresses for children alongside modern Eid-inspired outfits, blending heritage with contemporary fashion.

    Heritage Village: A glimpse of the past

    At the Heritage Village, visitors experience authentic Emirati traditions, craftsmanship, and hospitality. Al Zahba Shop offers traditional Mukhawars, while Saharet Al Bait showcases delicate Thoubs and Shayla sets crafted from fine tulle lace. These offerings provide a tangible connection to the UAE’s rich cultural legacy.

    Khalifa Foundation: Platform for emerging entrepreneurs

    The Khalifa Foundation Pavilion reflects Emirati elegance and Islamic heritage through graceful arches, domes, and palm-framed designs. It serves as a showcase for emerging local entrepreneurs, with products spanning fashion, home décor, and accessories.

    Visitors can explore Art By Alia, featuring items inspired by Eid Al Etihad, and Al Aaliah l’lexseswarat, which presents intricately embroidered thoubs in vibrant colours for young female guests. Complementing the shopping experience, a wide range of Emirati food kiosks serve local favourites like Harees, Luqaimat, Rgaag bread, and the coastal specialty Jasheed at Yaryoor.

    Adding to the festivities, spectacular fireworks will illuminate the night sky from December 1 to 3 at 9:00pm, with UAE-themed drone shows on December 1 and 2, blending cutting-edge technology with national pride.

    In addition to the Eid-specific attractions, Global Village continues to offer a range of free experiences as part of its 30th season celebrations. These immersive activities cater to all ages and highlight the park’s commitment to providing family-friendly entertainment.

    Gardens of the World

    The new Gardens of the World attraction, stretching from the Egypt Pavilion to the Iran Pavilion, features exotic floral arrangements and landmark icons from around the globe. Designed as a tranquil space for strolls and family relaxation, the gardens offer a serene yet vibrant environment within the park.

    30 Seasons of Wonders Parade

    To mark three decades of spectacular entertainment, the ‘30 Seasons of Wonders Parade’ fuses colour, lights, and music, with performers representing cultures from every continent. The parade runs three days a week, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, after Maghreb prayer, with two showings per day, bringing authentic cultural storytelling to life through dynamic performances.

    Dragon Lake laser show

    The iconic Dragon Lake, holder of a Guinness World Record for the largest underwater display screen, has been upgraded with enhanced visual clarity. Six new laser shows, complete with stunning fire and light effects, create a mesmerizing experience for guests, further cementing Global Village’s reputation for innovation in entertainment.

    Light shows and fireworks

    A Light Show at the Main Stage combines LED and ambient lighting effects with music, creating a spectacular sensory experience. The park’s traditional fireworks display continues every Friday, Saturday, and now Tuesday at 9pm, delighting visitors with a visual feast that complements the park’s vibrant energy.

    From handcrafted Emirati goods to modern entertainment spectacles, Global Village’s Eid Al Etihad festivities offer an unparalleled blend of tradition and innovation.
